Congratulations are in order for Trinidadian Phd student, Navida Bachanon her selection for the prestigious Routledge/Round Table Commonwealth Studentship Award for the 2020-2021 academic year. Only two studentships are offered each year which makes this fete impressive.
Navida, who is reading for a PhD in Governance at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus. She plans to utilize the Routledge/Round Table Commonwealth Studentship towards understanding key administration parts inside the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). In particular, her investigation of the NHS will start with a survey of key enactment, and come full circle in interviews with wellbeing authorities.
She imagines her discoveries being converted into strategy quantifies that contribute towards the general reinforcing of the Trinidad and Tobago wellbeing framework just as those of creating nations all in all. She holds a BSc in Economics and a MSc in Development Statistics with a specialization in Social and Demographic Statistics, both from The UWI.
